Terminó Semana Santa y con ella los campeonatos Sudamericanos en las distintas clases monotipos mas importantes de Argentina y Latinoamerica.

El campeonato para la clase Laser Standard Radial y 4.7 fue en Ecuador, con vientos calmos y grandes olas, en Salinas Ecuador. En Radial y 4.7 los líderes fueron brasileros acompañados por peruanos. El destacado en Radial y 4.7 fue el peruano Alexander Zimmermman quien en poco tiempo de dejar el optimist se convirtió en uno de los mas importantes protagonistas del campeonato. También se destacaron los brasileros Baepi Pinna y Allan de Oliveira en las primeras posiciones.

El Campeonato de Laser Standard tuvo un lider absoluto, el Chileno Matias del Solar, quien dominó durante todo el Campeonato. El Rosarino Federico Buaiti finalizó en 3º lugar haciendo un excelente campeonato. También dio sorpresa el peruano Luis Alberto Olcese en segundo lugar.
The laser Standard Championship haved a absolut leader , the chilean Matias del Solar, leader during all championship. Federico Buiati ARG from Rosario, finish in 3º place overall, making a excelent championship. Other sorpress was the peruvian Luis Alberto Olcese in second placed.

The Optimist Southamerican Campionship was held in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Have the participation of not Southamerican Countries, like Puerto Rico, Singapur, USA, Grecce, Bermuda, etc. Argentina team doesnt have great participation. In the Team Racing Championship the champion was Peru. The individual championship, the first place was for the chilean Benjamin Grez Ahrens, floweed for Lucas Swan from Brazil

The 420 class haved his Southamerican champioship in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Haved the participation of Brasil, Argentina and Chile, with 28 boat in start. The first placed was for the sisters Travasio for Argentina, taking the title at favourites Peribrusa-Masseroni. The class demostrated to be very strong in Argentina taking the firts placed in overall. Jochi Arigos and Marcos Lewis form Rosario, finish in 11º Overall

The Southamerican Championship for Snipes was held in Punta del Este Uruguay, with hight level and many countries (CHI, ARG, URU, MEX, BER, COL, USA). 47 boats. The brazilian dominated the Overall and Juniors ctaegories many diference at rest of fleet. In Overall the first was the brazilian Wanderley-Chaves (Laser Radial Sailors) from Sao Paulo (BRA), foloweed for the favourites Xandi Paradera - Pedro Tinoco (470 sailors). The recients 2007 Western Hemisferi Champions Defazio-Medici from Uruguay finish in 4º placed. With dificult races the best argentians was the crew Marcatelli-Bonaventura. Another of the favourites was Alexander Tinoco BRA, finish in 6º placed. The best argentinians from Rosario were Pierson-Rivero in 16 place. This was the most important championship in preparation for the next Panamerican Games held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, next July
